ADD A PERSON TO ACE

Use This Form to Add a Person for Entry into the United States.

Customs Border and Protection (CBP) requires that every ACE eManifest contain identification for all persons crossing into the United States. Please ensure all information is accurate and complete. Spending a few minutes to ensure accuracy may save hours at the border.
The following information contains instructions and tips for accurately adding a person to ACE:

Person Details

The CBP Border Services Officer may check the individual's physical identification documents against the eManifest information. It is very important that the driver's license, passport and any other documents exactly match document details on the eManifest. Do not use nicknames or abbreviations. It is best to enter the full name exactly as it appears on the documents that may be presented to the CBP Border Services Officer.

ACE eManifests are required to include a United States contact address for all persons. For non-US citizens the destination address may be used. This could be the Consignee address listed on your eManifest or any address where the individual may be staying.

Drivers and crew members require a driver’s license and an additional travel document. Passengers require only a travel document (not a driver’s license).
